Transitional Phrases Agreement

This structured list of commonly used English transition words — about 200 — can be considered almost complete. It can be used (by students and teachers) to find the right expression. English transition words are indispensable because they can not only combine ideas, but also introduce a certain lag, contrast or opposition, accent or agreement, purpose, result or conclusion, etc. Transition words and phrases have only been assigned once to somewhat artificial categories, although some words belong to more than one category. Restatements are an effective use of transition phrases and can help create a well thought-out article or opinion piece: “While the superiority of Burger King and McDonald`s fries is on the agenda, in the end, a scoop of ice cream at my preferred choice would be every day.” Use this list of more than 100 transition words and phrases for instances where you need to provide comparison/contrast, summary, conclusion or more information. All English transition words and phrases (sometimes called “conjunctivadverbies”) do the same job as coordinating conjunctions: they combine two words, phrases or clauses, making the text easier to read and consistency improves. Today, websites and blogs are rewarded for their ease of use and readability. If someone is browsing your website and immediately has trouble interpreting what you are trying to say because there are too few transition phrases to add context, there is a chance that they will make a setback very quickly. An example of agreement would be: “He asked if he could record the interview in addition to the notes.” Accent, addition, agreement, contrast, order, resemblance, restriction are some of the types of transient words.

This is defined as an agreement, because the transition comes with two sentences or clauses that agree with each other. If you need an effective transition between two instructions that complement each other, you should see a transition word for agreement/addition/similarity.
